Say you were at a job interview and one of your interviewer’s asked you what was the best 49 cents you ever spent, what would you answer?

My answer is below.

I DID NOT answer 49:00 by Paul Westerberg, because I am a doofus. The interviewer was totally stunned by my speechlessness. He even said, while I wracked my brain for a good answer, I thought this would be easy.

Then he left me off the hook and said, “49:00 by Paul Westerberg.”

FFFFFFuUUUUUUCCCKK.

I biffed that one, and it made me want the job even more than I had before, if that’s possible.

How awesome of an interview question is that?

I mentioned yesterday that my nephews were digging on Chris Mars’ Tolerance book. They were obsessed! As the day went on they kept going back to the “scary” book as they called it. They would sit on the couch flipping through pages counting skeletons, pumpkins, and bats. But the best part was them talking about what all the people were doing in the paintings (all their stories involved Halloween).

Here you can see Nolan chilling on the couch with the book while in the background Liam recreates some of the paintings on the whiteboard.
