And then there were two…
Well not literally those two obviously, but their namesakes. It’s Let It Be vs Tim for the the championship. And you thought deciding between All Shook Down and Hootenanny was tough! Voting open till end of day Wednesday. Thursday we crown a champion.
C’mon! PLEASE vote for me! I have their best combination of emotion, urgency, ass-kicking hard rock, Bob Stinson leads, and Paul Westerberg lyrics/vocals EVER! And THAT’s just Bastards Of Young! That’s before we even start talking about Dose Of Thunder, Kiss Me On The Bus, Swingin’ Party, Left Of The Dial, Here Comes A Regular, Waitress In The Sky and the I-Won’t-Dare opener (as one reviewer put it)…Hold My Life. Thank you for your time, and I hope you make the pick me.
Best.
Graphic.
Ever!
well done.
Answering machine trumps all.
This one will be a landslide.
Dear Tim,
Dose of Thunder? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Dose of Thunder is one of the shittiest songs ever. Dose of Thunder makes Gary’s Got a Boner seem like sheer brilliance.
Blow me, Tim.
Love and kisses,
I Will Dare (and the rest of the Let it Be gang).
Yeah, what Jodi said.
Er, I didn’t say anything, clearly you are talking about that letter from I Will Dare.
Dear Tim,
I don’t mean to come off rude but you sound tinny and well, just plain off. It’s distracting. Having a deaf guy produce you did no favors. Despite this there is a lot to love about you – and I do love you, Timmy – but LiB won my heart. Now if you would have been remastered before this poll came out it might have been a different story. Alas, we will never know. I hope we can still be friends.
Zook
My mistake, Jodi is mute.
How right you are Zook. I’m really looking forward to the re-mastered Tim. It’s funny, but I’m jonesing for the Sire stuff even more than the TT records.
It’ll be interesting to see what pops up on DTAS & ASD for extras.
Dear Zook,
I’ll totally let you fool around with Tim. I’m just that kind of girl, um record. Have fun with the remaster!
Love,
I Will Dare (and the Let it Be gang)
I love Tim and I mean love it. but when it comes down to the wire Let It be has just to many great songs to lose.
Wow, the poll results prove once again that what is popular is not always right. Waaaay too often!
Feeling underrated and abandoned by the masses, (but still knowing I truly kick more ass than LIB, and therefore I have no self esteem issues) I shall now go back to what I was doing before my name was chosen for this poll. But before I go, I would just like to thank those that have always believed in me, and will continue to. I know you’ll keep blasting me from your speakers, (remastered or not) and I appreciate that!
Love,
Tim
